2026 Temporary Generation RFP
PSEG Long Island, LLC (“PSEG Long Island”), on behalf of the Long Island Power Authority (“LIPA”) is issuing this 2026 Request for Proposals for Temporary Generation (“2026 Temporary Generation RFP” or “RFP”) for the purpose of maintaining reliability for Long Island customers. LIPA is seeking to procure up to a total of 400 MW of temporary generation from multiple Projects to be located in LIPAs service territory. Such facilities will be connected to LIPA’s Transmission or Distribution System (“LIPA’s T&D System”).
