On October 24, 2025, PSEG Long Island, as agent of and acting on behalf of LIPA, issued a request for proposals, the 2025 ISO-NE Capacity Request for Proposals, to procure up to 345 MW of Capacity from one or more generating facilities located in the New England Control Area for the NYISO Capability Years 2027 – 2028, 2028 – 2029, 2029 – 2030, 2030 - 2031, and 2031 - 2032, which are eligible to qualify as Locational Installed Capacity for Long Island (Load Zone K) under the applicable NYISO Rules. Each Proposal must offer a minimum of 25 MW from a single Project.

RFP Updates as of March 06, 2026: 

• PSEG Long Island is issuing this Supplemental Notification to any Respondent that submitted a Proposal in response to this RFP and has not received a confirmation from or been in contact with PSEGLI to confirm Proposal receipt. Those Respondents have until March 20, 2026, 5:00 PM EPT to re-submit previously submitted Proposals. The resubmission must include the original as an attachment to provide evidence that the Proposal was submitted by the Proposal Submittal Deadline of December 18, 2025, 5:00 PM EPT. As indicated in the RFP, the maximum allowable email size is 15 MB. Multiple emails are acceptable. The submission of “zip files” are not acceptable. PDF, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word files are acceptable with a maximum size of 15 MB each. • Posted RFP Addendum #1, which replaces the original posted on October 24, 2025. In this addendum, the Supplemental Notification Period has been added to the RFP Target Dates in Section 4.0 of the RFP.
