Planned Outage Request
To plan a temporary outage, please fill out an online request.
You may start your request at any time. If you need to gather information, you may pause for up to 13 days and resume the request, or you will need to start over. You will save a draft request and receive an e-mail with a draft number. To resume the request, go to the resume request site, copy and paste that number and provide the last name as it is displayed.
Plan in Advance
You may need a planned, long-term outage for a variety of reasons, such as cleaning an exterior transformer vault, installing siding on a house, or making permanent repairs to a service. Here's how to schedule a planned outage. Please submit all outage requests at least ten business days in advance. Scheduled outages begin during normal workday hours from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.
You may be charged for your outage if your request:
- must be completed during off-hours
- will require a dedicated crew
When submitting your online request please note that we will require:
- A digital copy of the electrical inspection certificate in advance for all work that affects the service equipment, including all repair and replacement work. The account or meter number to ensure we have the correct account being worked on. If we cannot verify the account, a Customer Planning Representative will need to confirm it in the field.

Weather or a system emergency could cause a delay in your request, please provide a rain date at least two days following the initial date.

When you're ready for your power to be turned back on, call us at 1-800-490-0075. Your service will be restored as soon as possible.
