PSEG Long Island has restored all customers who lost power from the severe thunderstorms on the evening of July 4.    
 

PSEG Long Island Storm Update — Monday, July 6, 10 AM

PSEG Long Island crews worked through the night, restoring more than 91% of customers affected by Saturday’s severe thunderstorms. We expect the majority of remaining customers to be restored by tonight. As of 9 AM, PSEG Long Island has restored power to more than 34,800 customers affected by the thunderstorms since 8 PM Saturday.
 

PSEG Long Island Storm Update — Sunday, July 5, 9 PM

PSEG Long Island crews continue to make strong progress, restoring more than 79% of customers affected by yesterday’s severe thunderstorms. Currently, 7,103 of 1.2 million electric customers across Long Island and the Rockaways are affected. As of 8:45 PM, PSEG Long Island has restored power to more than 26,500 customers affected by the thunderstorms since 8 PM Saturday.

Working in 16-hour shifts, hundreds of PSEG Long Island personnel have made strong progress restoring customers affected by severe thunderstorms last night. The storm downed trees, branches and wires, currently affecting 7,769 of 1.2 million electric customers across Long Island and the Rockaways. As of 4 PM, PSEG Long Island has restored power to more than 23,600 customers affected by the thunderstorms since 8 PM Saturday.
