PSEG Long Island and Island Harvest Thank Three Village Community for Generous Donations to ‘Power to Feed Long Island’ Food Drive

PSEG Long Island and Island Harvest Food Bank thank the Three Village community for its kindness and generosity. Despite intermittent downpours, high heat and uncomfortable humidity, dozens of community members came out to PSEG Long Island’s Power to Feed Long Island food collection on Friday, July 12, in South Setauket. They donated 2,500 pounds of food, personal care items and pet supplies, plus $1,300 in cash donations – in total, the equivalent of 4,500 meals. 

PSEG Long Island is Prepared for High Heat and Strong Thunderstorms

With a heat advisory in effect through Wednesday evening and strong thunderstorms possible Wednesday afternoon, PSEG Long Island has sufficient electric capacity to meet projected peak demand and is prepared for extreme weather.

PSEG Long Island to Activate Voluntary ‘Smart Savers’ Thermostat Program

With a heat advisory in effect for most of Long Island and the Rockaways through Wednesday night, PSEG Long Island is activating its voluntary Smart Savers thermostat program today, July 16.

PSEG Long Island has announced the student winners of its fifth annual I Am Em-Powered Energy Conservation Video Public Service Announcement (PSA) Contest. The top 10 award-winning PSAs were revealed on June 17 at a ceremony at the Long Island Children’s Museum (LICM) where the videos of the top 30 finalists are on display through the end of July. 

Circuit Reliability Upgrades Begin in Levittown
