Project Specifics
PSEG Long Island will be constructing a new operations center in the Hamlet of Medford at 3351 Route 112. This new operating center will directly benefit the local community by reducing response times and mitigating the risk of prolonged service disruptions. The operations center will consolidate and centralize other PSEG Long Island facilities and enhance response times in the community. The existing main structure will be repurposed as administrative office space with construction of a new warehouse facility and fleet garage for service vehicles.
In the rear of the property there will be a wet meadow, and a forested habitat will be retained. A portion of the property will be revegetated, and invasive species will be removed and replaced with native pine barren species.
Project Timeline
Construction is expected to begin in October 2025 and projected to be complete by January of 2027. Crews will be working Monday – Friday from approximately 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Will there be any traffic interruptions?
PSEG Long Island does not anticipate traffic interruptions. However, we will provide cones, flagmen and signage at the work sites, as needed.
