Project Overview
This project was completed in July 2017
During the next few months, you will see workers strengthening the system in the city of Glen Cove. PSEG Long Island will be installing a new underground electric line near your home or business. While this work is being performed, traffic and parking will be impacted along the route.
Project Route
The work will take place on the following streets in Glen Cove:
- Grove Street between Stanco Street and Cedar Swamp Road
- Cedar Swamp Road/Glen Street between Grove Street and Pearsall Avenue
- Hendrick Avenue between Glen Street and Porter Place

Work is expected to begin in November 2016 with completion anticipated by January 2017.

Crews will be working daily Monday through Friday from approximately 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and weekends when necessary.

PSEG Long Island does not anticipate any power outages related to this project.

There will be some traffic interruptions along the route. To ensure traffic moves safely, PSEG Long Island will provide cones, flagmen and signage at the work sites, as needed, to minimize interruptions.
