Flowerfield Reliability Project

Reliability Projects

We're making upgrades to enhance our system's ability to withstand extreme weather and meet energy demands.

Project Specifics for 69kV Underground Cable
PSEG Long Island is installing a new underground transmission circuit to meet the growing demand for electricity and provide greater system reliability. During the next couple of months, you will see crews working in your area strengthening the system. The project includes the installation of a new underground cable through directional drilling and open trenching.
