PSEG Long Island Supports Copiague Community with Grant to Chamber of Commerce

(UNIONDALE, N.Y. – Oct. 13, 2023) PSEG Long Island recently gave a grant of $8,000 to the Copiague Chamber of Commerce to support local businesses and local commerce. The chamber used the money to purchase flags that are flying over Gateway Park (pictured) and holiday lights that will be displayed on Great Neck Road during the holiday season.

“The Copiague Chamber of Commerce is thankful to PSEG Long Island for its Outdoor Commerce and Beautification grant program. They provided flags and holiday decorations for Copiague. It was a pleasure working with them in keeping our downtown beautiful. We look forward to working with them on future projects.”

- Donna Farina, President, Copiague Chamber of Commerce

The PSEG Long Island Chamber Beautification grant program was created to support aesthetic enhancements and downtown improvement projects in municipalities and, over the last three and a half years, more than $350,000 has been distributed across Long Island and the Rockaways.
