Home Comfort Program

Formerly known as the Cool Homes Program

Please note: PSEG Long Island has enhanced the rebate for cold climate air source heat pumps, which provide cooling and heating from one unit. We are phasing out rebates for central air and mini-split systems that provide cooling only. As of January 1, 2020, Home Comfort rebates will be available only for an air source heat pump system installed by a Home Comfort participating contractor.

For central air and ductless, cooling-only systems

  • by participating contractors: installation must be completed by November 15, 2019 and the application submitted by December 2, 2019.
  • by non-participating contractors: installation must be completed by December 31, 2019 and the application submitted by March 31, 2020.

For heat pumps installed by a non-participating contractor,
installation must be completed by December 31, 2019 and the application submitted by March 31, 2020.
