THIS IS A DRILL - FOR TESTING PURPOSES ONLY

Damage assessment and power restoration underway

Our communications systems and outage map continue to suffer from technical issues. We thank you for your patience as we work to assess storm damage and restore power. Field crews continue to work in 12-hour shifts, 24 hours a day, with the assistance of [TBD] personnel brought in from other utilities.

If your power is off and you have not yet reported it to us, please use our online Outage Reporter. We have already restored power for [TBD] customers. If you see any downed wire, stay far away from it, do not drive over it and report it to us immediately, anytime at 1-800-490-0075 [or alternate method]. Be aware that storm debris can hide wires from sight.

PSEG Long Island Summary Information

The table below displays the Estimated Time of Restoration (ETR) for each township/city and village. Because an ETR is an estimate, it could change. We are not yet prepared to provide ETRs for individual addresses as crews continue to assess damage.

If using a generator, operate it only outdoors and away from windows and vents.

Food safety: A freezer that is half-full will keep food cold enough for up to 24 hours, and up to 48 hours if full.
