PSEG Long Island Line Crews Help New Jersey Restore Power After Powerful Storm

(UNIONDALE, N.Y. – June 4, 2020) Photo caption: A caravan of PSEG Long Island service trucks carrying more than a dozen lineworkers left this morning to help restore power in New Jersey after strong thunderstorms passed through the state yesterday. The Long Island crews are working in Moorestown, one of the areas hardest hit in the Public Service Electric and Gas (PSE&G) service territory. Because of the pandemic, field crews are following social distancing protocols by wearing masks and gloves, keeping 6’ apart and wearing face shields when they are working in closer proximity to each other. Both PSEG Long Island and PSE&G are members of North Atlantic Assistant (NAMAG), a mutual aid group, which shares resources during emergencies.
