Affected Route One - Villages of Sands Point, Manorhaven, and Port Washington North - Completed

  • Middle Neck Road between Old Barn Lane and Sands Point Road
  • Sands Point Road between Middle Neck Road and Cow Neck Road/Shore Road
  • Barkers Point Road between Hicks Lane and Cow Neck Road
  • Cow Neck Road between Middle Neck Road and Shore Road
  • Shore Road between Cow Neck Road and Manhasset Avenue

Affected Route Two - Port Washington and the Villages of Sands Point and Port Washington North | Start date: October 2017

  • Middle Neck Road between Sands Point Road and Thayer Lane
  • Radcliff Avenue between Middle Neck Road and Soundview Drive
  • Avenue C/Valley Road between Radcliff Avenue and Harbor Road
  • Harbor Road between Avenue C/Valley Road and Liberty Lane
  • Port Washington Boulevard (Route 101) between Harbor Road and Eastern Crest Road
  • Sandy Hollow Road between Port Washington Boulevard (Route 101) and Sandy Hollow Lane
  • Irma Avenue between Sandy Hollow Road and Main Street

In addition, switching equipment will be replaced at Middle Neck Road east of Governors Lane, Middle Neck Road south of Rockwood Avenue, and Avenue C/Valley Road north of Harbor Road.

Affected Route Three - Port Washington and the Villages of Sands Point and Baxter Estates - Completed

  • Cedar Lane between Barkers Point Road and Cornwall Lane
  • Cornwall Lane between Cedar Lane and Marwood Road North
  • Marwood Road North between Cornwall Lane and Manorhaven Boulevard
  • Manorhaven Boulevard between Linwood Road and Edgewood Road
  • South Washington Street between Main Street and Webster Avenue
  • Webster Avenue between Carlton Avenue and Monroe Street
  • Monroe Street between Webster Avenue and Van Buren Street
  • Van Buren Street between Monroe Street and Lincoln Place
  • Lincoln Place between Van Buren Street and Franklin Avenue
  • Franklin Avenue between Lincoln Place and Mackey Avenue
  • Mackey Avenue between the east and west intersections of Franklin Avenue
  • Franklin Avenue between Mackey Avenue and Belleview Avenue
  • Belleview Avenue between Franklin Avenue and Bayview Avenue

In addition, switching equipment will be replaced at Marwood Road North south of Cornwall Lane and Shore Road west of Bayside Avenue.

Affected Route Four - Villages of Kings Point and Great Neck | Start date: June 2018

  • Harbour Road between East Shore Road (eastern intersection) and 19 Harbour Road
  • Rear Property between 19 Harbour Road and 7 Harbour Road
  • Rear Property between 526 East Shore Road and 530 East Shore Road
  • East Shore Road between 530 East Shore Road and Ravine Road

Crews will move the main line wires underground along the following streets:

  • Spring Lane between Rogers Road and Henhawk Road
  • Henhawk Road between Spring Lane and Remsen Road
  • Remsen Road between Henhawk Road and East Shore Road
  • East Shore Road from Remsen Road to 429 East Shore Road

In addition, switching equipment will be installed at East Shore Road north of Cow Lane

Affected Route Five - Great Neck Gardens, Villages of Kings Point, Great Neck, and Thomaston | Start date: July 2018

The route will cover approximately 2.5 miles along an electric main line circuit. PSEG Long Island crews will be working on the following streets in:

  • Gilchrest Road between Grace Avenue and Nassau Drive
  • Station Road between Gilchrest Road and Wooleys Lane East
  • Oxford Boulevard between Station Road and Warwick Road
  • Warwick Road between Oxford Boulevard and Croyden Avenue
  • Croyden Avenue between dead end and Chadwick Road
  • Baker Hill Road between Warwick Road and Hampshire Road
  • Hampshire Road between Baker Hill Road and Piccadilly Road
  • Piccadilly Road between Hampshire Road and Middle Neck Road
  • Middle Neck Road between Nirvana Avenue and Baker Hill Road
  • Steamboat Road between Wesey Court and Centre Drive
  • Gilbert Road between Steamboat Road and Gay Drive
  • Redbrook Road between Gay Drive and Kings Point Road

Crews will move the main line wires underground along the following streets:

  • Gay Drive between Redbrook Road and Gilbert Road
  • Gilbert Road between Gay Drive and Carriage Road

This will storm-harden the main line circuit while allowing the utility poles and overhead secondary electric wires in rear properties to continue connecting residents to the energy grid. In addition, switching equipment will be installed at Steamboat Road east of Elm Place Baker Hill Road east of Ruxton Road 

Affected Route Six - Manhasset | Start date: August 2018

  • Deepdale Drive between Northern Boulevard (Route 25A) and Old Mill Road
  • Old Mill Road between Deepdale Drive and Vanderbilt Road
  • Vanderbilt Road between Old Mill Road and Country Club Drive
  • Country Club Drive between Vanderbilt Road and Soundview Crest
  • Soundview Crest between Country Club Drive and Timber Lane
  • Timber Lane between Soundview Crest and Chapel Road
  • Chapel Road between Timber Lane and Dover Road
  • Dover Road between Chapel Road and Harrow Lane
  • Aldershot Lane from Chapel Road to 155 Aldershot Lane
  • Harrow Lane between Dover Road and Bruce Lane
  • Bruce Lane between Harrow Lane and Dead End
  • Mill Spring Road between Country Club Drive and Payne Whitney Lane

Affected Route Seven - University Gardens and the Village of Lake Success | Start date: September 2018

The main line electric wires will be moved underground along the following streets:

  • Horace Harding Boulevard between Links Drive and Bates Road
  • Bates Road between Horace Harding Boulevard and Soundview Drive
  • Soundview Drive between Bates Road and Robbins Lane
  • Robbins Lane between Soundview Drive and Westminster Road
  • Westminster Road between Robbins Lane and Northern Boulevard

This will storm-harden a main line circuit serving hundreds of customers in the area, while allowing the utility poles and overhead secondary electric wires to continue connecting residents to the energy grid with minimal disruptions.

Affected Route Eight - Glen Head, Glenwood Landing, Greenvale, the Village of East Hills, and the Village of Roslyn Harbor

Crews will move the main line wires underground along the following streets:

  • I.U. Willets Road between LIRR tracks and Roslyn Road

This will storm-harden the main line circuit while allowing the utility poles and overhead secondary electric wires in rear properties to continue connecting residents to the energy grid.

In addition, switching equipment will be installed or replaced at Roslyn Road north of Bengeyfield Drive and Glen Cove Road north of Hillside Avenue (Route 25B)

  • Roosevelt Place between Cottage Place and Second Street
  • Second Street between Willis Avenue and Roslyn Road

In addition, switching equipment will be installed at Horton Highway south of Washington Avenue, Jefferson Avenue east of Horton Highway and Roslyn Road north of Washington Avenue

Affected Route Twelve - Villages of Garden City and Mineola in the Towns of Hempstead and North Hempstead: | Start date: February 2018

Crews will be working on 0.8 miles of an electric main line circuit on the following streets:

  • Willis Avenue between Harrison Avenue and Old Country Road
  • Roslyn Road between Hinck Way and Old Country Road
  • Old Country Road between Roslyn Road and Clinton Road  

Crews will move the main line wires underground along the following streets:

  • Seabury Road between Old Country Road and Surrey Lane
  • Surrey Lane between Seabury Road and Avalon Road
  • Avalon Road between Surrey Lane and Clinton Road 

This will storm-harden the main line circuit while allowing the utility poles and overhead secondary electric wires in rear properties to continue connecting residents to the energy grid.

In addition, switching equipment will be installed at Old Country Road west of Linden Street
