Town of Babylon

Power On Projects

PSEG Long Island is committed to strengthening the electric infrastructure and improving reliability and will be continuing to storm harden the system. Power On will focus on mainline circuits, the backbone of PSEG Long Island’s distribution system. The mainlines feed the many branch lines that power the homes and businesses in your community.

Hamlet of West Babylon

Start Date: Work is expected to last approximately three months and will begin late June 2025.
Post Date: 06/10/25

Crews will be working on about .96 miles of the branch line on the following streets:

Granada Parkway between Montauk Highway and Spruce Place
Harding Avenue between East Shore Road and Granada Parkway
East Shore Road south of Harding Avenue
East Shore Road west of Harding Avenue

Hamlet of Deer Park

Start Date: Work is expected to last approximately two months and will begin mid-May 2025.
Post Date: 05/06/25

Crews will be working on about .45 miles of the branch line on the following streets:

Brook Avenue between De Kay Place and Bay Shore Road
Skidmore Road between Brook Road and De Kay Place

Hamlet of Deer Park

Start Date: Work is expected to last approximately three months and will begin mid-February 2025
Post Date: 01/28/25

Crews will be working on about 1.26 miles of the branch line on the following streets:

Brook Avenue between Skidmore Road and North of Suburban Avenue
Suburban Avenue east of Skidmore Road
Suburban Avenue east of Brook Avenue
Skidmore Road between Suburban Avenue and Sammis Avenue
Sammis Avenue Skidmore Road and Washington Avenue
East of Brook Avenue and just south of Suburban Avenue
Brook Avenue east of Morgan Avenue
East of Brook Avenue and just south of De Kay Place
