Final Restoration Information

PSEG Long Island thanks you for your cooperation and patience during recent electric utility work in your area. While our energy system upgrades are now complete, some areas may currently only have temporary restoration done to the area. The exact timing and method of final restoration may vary depending on weather conditions.  However, our crews will return to complete final restoration in locations affected by our work.  

Paving Restoration 
After work on our electrical system is completed, excavation areas are restored with temporary asphalt to ensure the area is safe and accessible. Once the ground has had time to properly settle, permanent paving is done typically within 60 days. The type of restoration varies by project and by weather conditions.

Landscaping Restoration
Any lawns, shrubs, or vegetation affected by our work will be restored in the coming weeks. Grass areas will be raked and seeded to promote regrowth.
