Heat pump pool heaters are increasingly popular among swimming pool owners across Long Island. By installing an energy efficient heat pump pool heater, owners will be reducing their pool heating costs by the use of ambient air surrounding the unit to heat their pool. When temperatures are higher than 50 degrees Fahrenheit, heat pump pool heaters can provide consistent heat once it reaches the desired ideal temperature, operating with much less effort.

Eligible Electric Heat Pump Pool Heaters
- Units must have a COP of at least 5 with a limit of one rebate per residential account every 5 years.

For customer rebate submission, please submit to myrebateli@pseg.com and include:
- $600 Heat Pump Pool Heater Rebate Form - Applies to units purchased between January 1, 2024, and March 31, 2024
- $1,000 Heat Pump Pool Heater Rebate Form - Applies to units purchased and installed on or after April 1, 2024
- Installation/Final Paid Invoice that includes unit model number installed
- Photo of heat pump pool heater’s model number/ serial number nameplate from the unit
- Photo of heat pump pool heater unit in customer’s permanent installed location
Please Note: Units purchased between January 1, 2024, and March 31, 2024, are subject to a rebate of $600. If a unit is purchased before April 1, 2024, but installed on or after April 1, 2024, it qualifies for a maximum of $600 customer rebate.When submitting customer rebates through PSEG Long Island’s Online Application portal, please use this document as a reference.
