Scott Jennings was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of PSEG Long Island in January 2026 with a focus on maintaining affordability and reliable electrical service for approximately 1.2 million customers on Long Island and the Rockaways.

He is a member of the Senior Executive Team of PSEG.

Mr. Jennings has extensive experience with PSEG Long Island’s structure and operations over the past 12 years, including leading the development, diligence and negotiation of PSEG’s arrangement to operate the Long Island electric grid on behalf of the Long Island Power Authority leading up to the establishment of PSEG Long Island in 2014. 

After previously working with Deloitte, Mr. Jennings joined PSEG in 1998, progressing in roles in accounting, financial and business oversight of the portfolio of unregulated energy investments in PSEG Energy Holdings, and leading PSEG’s Development team prior to becoming Vice President of Utility Finance. Most recently he was Senior Vice President of Finance, Planning and Strategy at PSEG, a position he assumed in 2019, where he was responsible for guiding the company's short- and long-term business plans, supporting PSEG’s overarching growth strategy and ensuring investments supported reliability, public policy and customer expectations in an affordable manner. 

Mr. Jennings has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting from Pace University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and has participated in various leadership courses, including the High Potential Leadership Program at Harvard University and Lead NJ. He served on accounting, financial and strategic committees of the Edison Electric Institute, American Gas Association and Electric Power Research Institute, and represented PSEG in its collaboration with Princeton University’s Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment. He served as the Chair of the Board of St. Vincent’s Academy, an all-girls Catholic high school in Newark, and has also served as a leader for several nonprofit and local religious, educational, and youth sports organizations.
