Celebrating Earth Day - All Month Long

In celebration of Earth Day and Arbor Day, PSEG Long Island, Suffolk County, Nassau County and RISE (Rockaway Initiative for Sustainability and Equity) partnered with New York State Urban Forestry Council and the Arbor Day Foundation to provide a total of 585 trees to customers across Long Island and Far Rockaway. These events are sponsored by the PSEG Foundation and PSEG Long Island. In addition to improving air quality and reducing soil erosion, planting the right trees in the right location can reduce utility bills and promote ongoing system reliability.

In addition to our Energy Saving Tree Distribution events, PSEG Long Island volunteers were in communities across Long Island, joined by local organizations to provide LED Lightbulbs, reusable shopping bags and information about our programs and services.

A success!

Another successful year! Thank you to everyone who participated in Earth Month 2024. Everything from the free LEDS bulbs to the tree pickup and distribution centers, worked out so very well. We couldn't have done it without the support of our fellow Long Islanders!
