We're increasing the number of EV charging stations across across our service territory, offering low-cost Time of Use charging, and providing tools to learn about the benefits of and incentives to transitioning to an EV vehicle.
Make Ready Incentive Program
The EV Make Ready Program offers incentives for the infrastructure needed to power Level 2 and DCFC across Long Island. This program is available for all commercial customers including Multi-Unit Dwellings, Retail/Offices, Parking Facilities/Lots, and more.

For Developers and Contractors interested in understanding available capacity to install electric vehicle charging stations on Long Island, a hosting capacity map is available for access. Please note, users must request access to the application first.
Incentives
With rebates, tax credits and other money saving incentives for driving and charging green, you might just save some green as well.
- Environmental Conservation Grant Funding for Municipalities
Grants to municipalities to install EVSE for public use. Grants are awarded on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted. - New York State Tax Credit for Public and Workplace Charging
Income tax credit of up to $5,000 for the purchase and installation of an electric vehicle charging station. The credit is targeted at commercial and workplace charging stations.
Fleet Make Ready Program
The Fleet Make Ready program is intended to support the development of EV charging infrastructure for public fleet and public transportation fleets. This includes light duty, medium duty, and heavy-duty vehicle segments.
Fleet Advisory Services
Complimentary fleet advisory service for all fleet operators that are PSEG Long Island customers, to understand the potential costs, savings, available incentives, best times to charge for their vehicle fleet(s), and how to work with the utility to get necessary service.
