Village of Mineola - Mineola Metro, LLC Project

A Reliability Project

As the Mineola Metro, LLC project takes shape, PSEG Long Island will support this economic downtown revitalization project by upgrading our facilities to accommodate the increased electric demand. As always, we are committed to delivering best-in-class electric reliability to you and your neighbors.

During the next several months, you will see crews working in your area to strengthen the system. Traffic and parking may be impacted along the project route.

  • Remove overhead electric lines and poles along a portion of 2nd Street from Mineola Boulevard to approximately 120 feet west of Main Street
  • Install new underground electric distribution lines along 2nd Street between Mineola Boulevard and Main Street, along Main Street between 2nd Street and 1st Street, and along 1st Street from Main Street to approximately 120 feet east of Main Street
