Reliability Improvement Projects
We're committed to delivering best-in-class system reliability to our customers and to harden the system to better withstand the types of extreme weather, like Superstorm Sandy, that greatly impacted Long Island. The PSEG Long Electric Reliability Improvement Projects meet the growing needs of our customers on Long Island and in the Rockaways and strengthens the system. We're working closely with all local municipalities to minimize any potential disruptions to residents, manage traffic controls and replenish any disturbed vegetation along the project routes.
