PSEG Long Island Invites Its Customers to Free Energy Conference on Halloween

(Uniondale, NY – Oct. 23, 2019) — Energize Long Island, PSEG Long Island’s seventh annual energy efficiency conference, will be held Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019 at the Hilton Long Island/Huntington in Melville, New York.

The all-day event is designed to help business owners and residents increase efficiency, lower energy-related costs, and conserve natural resources by providing tips and ideas. A wide range of info sessions, led by industry experts, will cover trending topics, including the benefits of ground source (geothermal) and air source heat pumps, emerging innovations like electric vehicles and smart home solutions and a look into the future of energy efficiency programs on Long Island. In addition, Energize Long Island offers significant networking opportunities and dozens of vendors and exhibitors. Some 600 people are expected to attend.

Joe Connolly, respected business reporter and WCBS AM radio personality, will deliver the keynote address. In his presentation, Connolly will provide his perspective on economic issues affecting Long Island and discuss how new innovations in energy technologies and programs can positively impact the local economy.
