PSEG Long Island Employee from Coram Earns Individual Beneficiary Award at CBIZ Workplace Challenge Charity Event; PSEG Long Island Wins Two Awards

(UNIONDALE, N.Y. – Aug. 15, 2025) PSEG Long Island’s Babette Daniels of Coram was awarded the CBIZ Workplace Challenge Individual Beneficiary Award for raising the most money as an individual fundraiser. Daniels, who raised more than $1,700 for this event, works tirelessly throughout the year encouraging her colleagues to contribute to the CBIZ Workplace Challenge and other charity events supported by PSEG Long Island. Since 2020, Daniels has used collaborative tabletop gaming sessions as a means of fundraising.

Daniels’ achievement contributed to PSEG Long Island earning the “Beneficiary Fund Challenge Award” which is given to the team with the most money raised on top of registration fees. Team PSEG Long Island also earned the “Greatest Participation Award,” for the more than 550 employees and their families registered for the event, hundreds of whom enjoyed the company’s annual barbecue on the beach.

The CBIZ Workplace Challenge, held on Aug. 5, 2025 at Jones Beach State Park, is an annual 3.5-mile run/walk benefitting the Children's Medical Fund of New York, Long Island Cares, Inc. – The Harry Chapin Food Bank, Nassau County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and The Long Island Children's Museum.
