MyAlerts

How to Register

To pay your bill by text or to begin receiving power outage updates and account notifications, you must first register cell phone or email address.  

Register Via Text

 

Step 1: From the cell phone that you want to register for MyAlerts:

  • Text REG to 773454 (PSEGLI) and press SEND.
  • Please note: If previously registered for outage alerts, text SUB to subscribe for additional account alerts. 

Step 2: For your security, we will send you a text message requesting additional information.

  • You will then be prompted for the ZIP code that is associated with your account. Text back that number.
  • You will then be prompted for the phone number on record for that account. Text back that number.

Step 3: A link to the Terms and Conditions will be sent to you.

You are now registered for MyAlerts!
To unsubscribe from any or all alerts simply text STOP to 773454 (PSEGLI) or log into My Account and select Manage MyAlerts. 

Register Through My Account

 

Step 1: Login to My Account from your smartphone, tablet, or computer.

Step 2: Click the “Manage MyAlerts” link.

Step 3: Add a New Contact.

  • Select the contact method (text or email)
  • Enter contact information (cell phone number or email address)
  • Enter a name for the new contact (ex: MomCell or WorkEmail)
  • Set Do Not Disturb Settings (optional)
  • Select the language that you would like to receive alerts in (English or Spanish)
  • Read the Terms and Conditions and check the box stating that you’ve read and agree to them.
  • Click “Save Changes”
  • Manage alerts by toggling the On/Off switch next to the alert type.

 
You are now registered for MyAlerts!

A confirmation message will be sent to the new contact. You will need to confirm the contact in order to begin receiving alerts.
