PSEG Long Island Recognizes Employee Luke Hession, of Blue Point and Long Beach, for Seventh Place Finish at CBIZ Workplace Challenge
(UNIONDALE, N.Y. – Aug. 6, 2026) PSEG Long Island’s Luke Hession, a Blue Point native now living in Long Beach, was the seventh fastest runner in the CBIZ Workplace Challenge event held July 28 at Jones Beach State Park. Hession’s time of 19:32 was the fastest among the PSEG Long Island racers.
A main sponsor of the event, PSEG Long Island also earned two awards – the “Beneficiary Fund Challenge Award” for its employees raising the most money on top of registration fees and the “Greatest Participation Award” recognizing the nearly 500 employees and their families registered for the event.
The CBIZ Challenge is an annual 3.5-mile run/walk benefiting the Children's Medical Fund of New York, Long Island Cares, Inc. – The Harry Chapin Food Bank, Nassau County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and The Long Island Children's Museum. PSEG Long Island is committed to giving back to the people and communities it serves by actively supporting hundreds of local charity events throughout the year.
