Employees Honor Fallen Veterans and PSEG Long Island Donates 500 Wreaths to ‘Wreaths Across America Day’

(UNIONDALE, N.Y. – Jan. 11, 2024) Dozens of PSEG Long Island employees recently participated in the nationwide Wreaths Across America Day at both Calverton National Cemetery and Long Island National Cemetery at Pinelawn. PSEG Long Island also donated 500 wreaths to the Calverton site for the group to use at this event in years to come. Every year on a Saturday before Christmas, PSEG Long Island employees join hundreds of other volunteers laying wreaths on military gravesites. This takes place at more than 2,500 locations across all 50 states and many U.S. territories, including Long Island’s two national cemeteries, and on working military vessels. This annual campaign honors fallen service members by laying wreaths at their gravesites for the holidays.

PSEG Long Island also donated 500 wreaths to the Calverton site for the group to use at this event in years to come.
