COVID-19 has upended all of our lives and created unexpected challenges. If it has created a financial burden for you, help may be available. 

Assistance for Our Customers

Assistance may be available if you are struggling with bills. As the nation rebounds from COVID-19, we know that economic burdens remain for many customers. Special protections may be available to you.

In March 2020, we suspended all service terminations for non-payment and continued this protection throughout the governor's COVID-19 State of Emergency, which has now ended. Residential and certain small business customers may be entitled to additional protections if the State of Emergency caused a change in financial circumstances:

  • We will not terminate your electric service for non-payment before December 21, 2021.
  • A new or restructured deferred payment agreement with no down payment, late fees or penalties.

You must contact us at 1-800-490-0025 and affirm a change in your financial circumstances to receive these protections. A payment agreement can help any customer manage a balance even after protections expire. Contact us if you would like to discuss payment options. Even if these protections are not available to you, there may be other ways we can help. Please reach out.
