Electrical Inspection Certificate
If you require temporary electric service during construction, please complete and return the Home Elevation Request form; your account will remain open and billable. Your service will be temporarily moved by PSEG Long Island to a TEMPORARY POLE (which your electrician must build using specifications from the Red Book).
We will also require a copy of your Electrical Inspection Certificate before we can issue a work order to have the service moved. This document is required for ALL new services and/or service changes. If your service location is in the Rockaway Peninsula, you will need a New York City Permit.
Should you NOT require electric service during construction, please complete and return the Electric Demolition Request form.
Should you NOT require electric service during construction, contact our Call Center at 1.800.490.0025 to resolve all outstanding billing issues and request your service be “turned off.” This ensures you receive your last meter reading and your last bill for service and resolves any outstanding payments. We cannot remove the electric facilities at your location until the account is closed and finalized.
