04/02/08 09:33:00 The following information is being provided to clarify information located in the NYISO Transmission and Dispatching Operations Manual Attachment B.5 - Applications of Reliability Rules and Cost Allocation Responsibility. ARR 22 and ARR 28 utilize the terms "Light Load" and "Peak Load". Light Load is defined as load less than 1900 MW. Peak Load is defined as load greater than 5300 MW. These values can vary based on transmission lines in service and time of load.

04/02/08 09:33:00 The following information is being provided to clarify information located in the NYISO Transmission and Dispatching Operations Manual Attachment B.5 - Applications of Reliability Rules and Cost Allocation Responsibility. ARR 28-D states a requirement to dispatch one Barrett unit in service at light load conditions. This requirement is no longer necessary.

4/23/07 14:35:00 In advance of NYISO Operating Committee approval, LIPA is making the public the following information related to the proposed local reliability rule NYSRC I-R3: Considering the loss of gas supply as a single contingency that will impact the electric system, the number of gas fired generators must be limited above certain critical system load levels. When the Neptune HVDC tie is not in-service then, at load levels above 3900 MW no more than two Northport units can be gas fired. At load levels above 2750 MW, and up to 3900 MW, no more than three Northport units can be gas fired. With the Neptune HVDC tie inservice then, at load levels above 3100 MW no more than two Northport units can be gas fired.
