Plan in advance
You may need a planned, long-term outage for a variety of reasons, such as cleaning an exterior transformer vault, installing siding on a house, or making permanent repairs to a service. Here's how to schedule a planned outage. Please submit all outage requests at least ten business days in advance. Outages will be scheduled to begin during the normal work day.
You may be charged for your outage if:
- You are making a request for work that must be completed during off-hours
- You are making a request for work that will require a dedicated crew
Submit your paperwork
Download, print, and complete the Planned Outage form. We will request an electrical inspection certificate in advance for all work that affects the service equipment, including all repair and replacement work. Please submit all documentation to Building & Renovation Services by email or fax.

Call to re-activate your power
When you're ready for your power to be turned back on, call us at 1-800-490-0075. Your service will be restored as soon as possible.
