Duck Pond Road between just west of Piping Rock Road to Oyster Bay Road
Piping Rock Road between Underhill Road and Chicken Valley Road
Long Island Rail Road right-of-way near Oyster Bay Road and Bayville Road

The route will cover approximately 2.79 miles along an electric main line circuit. PSEG Long Island crews will be working on the following streets:
Crescent Beach Road just south of intersection with New Woods Road
New Woods Road between Crescent Beach Road and Glengariff Drive

Rear property on west side of Buckeye Road
Rear property on west side of Poplar Place and north side of Flower Lane

Route 107 Project

PSEG Long Island is beginning a scheduled project that has been permitted by the NYS Department of Transportation and is funded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Hazard Mitigation Assistance Program. This project will improve electric reliability for you and thousands of other customers in your community. It will replace existing poles and related equipment, strengthening the most vulnerable sections of the energy grid against extreme weather. PSEG Long Island crews will be working on the following streets in Town of Oyster Bay, City of Glen Cove and Village of Old Brookville: Route 107 between Glen Cove Road and Hegemans Lane. In addition, switching equipment will be installed at Glen Head Road and Route 107 and Route 107 south of Glen Head Road.

Will there be any traffic interruptions?
In order to ensure the safety of residents and our work crews, there will be traffic interruptions and detours related to this work. Specifically, North of Northern Blvd along Route 107, on the Northbound side, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., on some days. To ensure traffic moves safely, PSEG Long Island licensed and approved contractors will provide cones, flaggers and signage at the work site, as needed, to minimize interruptions.

Phase I: Route 107 Northbound road closure between Hegeman’s Lane and Chicken Valley Road
Anticipated Dates: 7/14/19 - 8/2/19
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Phase II: Route 107 Northbound road closure between Chicken Valley Rd and Glen Cove Road
Anticipated Dates: 8/8/19 - 9/14/19
