280 MW Renewable RFP
On October 18, 2013, LIPA issued an RFP (“280 MW RFP” or “280 MW Renewable RFP”) for up to 280 MW of new, on-Island, Renewable Capacity and Energy. This procurement targeted varied renewable energy resources with a nameplate capacity of 2 MW up to 280 MW. Successful bidders would enter a 20-year PPA with LIPA.
The proposal submittal period for this procurement ended on March 31, 2014.
